Branding Workshop with Niikah Hatfield

Do you have a business, brand, or personal aesthetic that you would like to clarify and share with the world?

Branding is such an important element to how the public interacts with our work, and can span across logo and typeface creation to image feel and color choice, and spanning from online presence to in-person offerings.

As a multi-media artist, branding has been an interest for me in the many ways that it guides my work as an entrepreneur and creative. In this workshop I'll share what I've learned in my own branding journey from web-based design to in-store aesthetics, and provide individual workshopping for each participant.

This workshop will touch on:

• Brand Styling: Colors, fonts, and overall feel

• Brand Mission: Clarifying your message to translate across all platforms

• Web Based Design: Considerations on Websites, social media profiles, and newsletters

• Print Media: Translating branding to print media such as business cards, brochures, and posters

• Physical Aesthetics: The importance of carrying your brand theme into physical elements of your business for cohesiveness and brand recognition

For a true workshop style meeting, you are encouraged to come with a brand or project you are working on, and ask questions throughout. The second half of this session will be focused on workshopping your individual projects, so bring your laptop, print materials, sketchbook, or anything else that feels relevant to share and we'll discuss some options together.
