Cacao & Clay Workshop

Craft your own sacred cacao vessel in this intentional workshop with artist Niikah Hatfield. We will share a cup of ceremonial cacao from Prophecy Chocolate, a small company creating ethically-sourced cacao from small family farms in Peru, discuss the beauty and history of this medicine, and create a cup to honor your own relationship with cacao.

Participants will learn the basics of ceramic handbuilding techniques, and will make their own piece to be glazed & fired at the studio. Finish pieces will be ready for pickup or shipment 2 weeks after the workshop date.

The workshop is $75 per participant, $65 if you bring a friend. This includes Prophecy Cacao during the workshop, an opening meditation and discussion around cacao, the clay workshop & individual instruction, clay materials for a project, and glazing/firing of a finished piece. There are a limited number of seats available.
