Wheel Throwing Pottery Couples Session

Do something unique with a special someone in your life with this couple's throwing session! Couples will learn to throw together, taking turns on the same wheel (yes, ghosting moments are allowed).

Participants will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel - perfect for beginners who want to try the wheel for the first time, or newcomers who are still learning how to throw and are looking to build their skill level.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Pottery Sessions are 2.5hrs long. A session includes demo time, one on one assistance throughout the session, and free time to practice throwing. Students are able to keep 1-2 pieces each if they make something they are happy with, to be glazed and fired by the team at Niik Creative Co.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING:

- Bring yourself, your hands, and an open attitude! 

- Wear whatever clothes are comfortable for working in and that are okay to get dirty. Clay washes out easily. Aprons can also be helpful if you'd like, but not required.

- A water bottle and any snacks or drinks you'd like.

SCHEDULING A SESSION:

Sessions are scheduled on a first come, first served basis with the studio, depending on the artist's availability for the week. To schedule a session, send us an email or message with 2-3 times that would work for you, and we will get back to you with one that works best. Sessions will need to be paid for in advance below.
