Service Description
Learn how to throw on the wheel with ceramicist Niikah Hatfield. Participants will learn the basics of throwing on the wheel - perfect for beginners who want to try the wheel for the first time, or newcomers who are still learning how to throw and are looking to build their skill level. WHAT TO EXPECT: Pottery Sessions are 2hrs long. A session includes individual demo time, one on one assistance during the session, and free time to practice throwing. Students are able to keep 1-2 pieces if they make something they are happy with, to be glazed and fired by the team at Niik Creative Co. WHAT TO WEAR/BRING: - Bring yourself, your hands, and an open attitude! - Wear whatever clothes are comfortable for working in and that are okay to get dirty. Clay washes out easily. Aprons can also be helpful if you'd like, but not required. - A water bottle and any snacks you'd like.
